Eredivisie 2026/27: Feyenoord three points clear as PSV lose at ADO

The Eredivisie is the top division in the Netherlands, founded in 1956, and Ajax are its most successful club. Eighteen teams meet home and away over 34 rounds. The champions go straight into the Champions League league phase, the runners-up into its qualifiers and third place into the Europa League qualifiers, while the next four play off for a Conference League place. The bottom two are relegated to the Eerste Divisie and 16th place goes into a play-off. PSV are the defending champions: they won the 2025/26 title with 84 points and 101 goals, while Feyenoord's Ayase Ueda was the top scorer with 25.

After nine rounds Feyenoord lead with 23 points after a 4-3 win at Telstar, their fifth in a row. They are the only unbeaten side, have won all five away games and have scored the most goals, 31. AZ are three points behind after a 2-2 draw at Cambuur, and PSV, beaten 2-1 at ADO Den Haag, are third. Ajax won 5-2 in Groningen and have won all four away games.

Willem II are bottom with two points and still without a win after losing 3-2 at Sparta, while ADO's win over PSV was their first of the season. Telstar are in the play-off place.

Go Ahead Eagles' Søren Tengstedt, Sparta's Zonneveld, Feyenoord's Nacho Ferri and Ajax's Julian Brandt lead the scorers with six goals each, and Excelsior's Irakli Yegoian and Feyenoord's Read have five assists.
