Liga I 2026/27: Dinamo, Rapid and Craiova all on five-game winning runs

Liga I is Romania's top division. Sixteen teams play 30 rounds, after which the top six enter a championship play-off and the other ten a play-out, with points halved. Universitatea Craiova are the defending champions after winning the 2025/26 title ahead of Universitatea Cluj.

After twelve rounds Dinamo Bucharest lead with 29 points after a 2-0 win over Botoșani and have won all six home games. Rapid, 2-0 winners over Corvinul, are two points behind and Universitatea Craiova, who beat Farul 2-0, are third on 26: all three have won their last five. Dinamo have the best defence, seven goals conceded. FCSB are tenth with a game in hand.

Csíkszereda are bottom with two points and still without a win, and Voluntari have lost all five away games.

Craiova's Simon Elisor leads the scorers with seven goals, ahead of CFR Cluj's Stefan Dražić, Botoșani's Andrei Dumiter and Universitatea Cluj's Alibek Aliev with six. Dinamo's Daniel Armstrong has ten assists, the most in the league.
