Liga I is Romania's top division. Sixteen teams play 30 rounds, after which the top six enter a championship play-off and the other ten a play-out, with points halved. Universitatea Craiova are the defending champions after winning the 2025/26 title ahead of Universitatea Cluj.
After 11 rounds Dinamo Bucharest lead with 26 points and have won all five home games. Rapid are two points behind and Craiova third on 23, having scored 20 goals and conceded two at home. FCSB are ninth, outside the top six.
Csíkszereda are bottom with one point from 11 games, and Voluntari have lost all five away games.
Four players share the scoring lead with six goals: CFR Cluj's Stefan Dražić, Botoșani's Andrei Dumiter, Craiova's Simon Elisor and Universitatea Cluj's Alibek Aliev. Dinamo's Daniel Armstrong has ten assists, the most in the league.
