Tunisian Ligue 1 2026/27: US Ben Guerdane lead, Espérance close behind

Ligue 1 is Tunisia's top division, with 16 clubs. The top two qualify for the CAF Champions League, third place goes to the Confederation Cup, and the bottom three are relegated. Espérance de Tunis are by far the most successful club in its history.

After six rounds, US Ben Guerdane lead on 14 points and are unbeaten, with four wins and two draws; they won 2-0 at ES Hammam-Sousse in the latest round. ES Tunis are second on 12 points with a game in hand, level with Monastir, who are also unbeaten and beat Progrès Sakiet Eddaïer 1-0 at the weekend. Club Africain have nine points from four games. Progrès Sakiet Eddaïer and Club Africain have conceded only two goals each.

At the bottom, ES Hammam-Sousse have lost five of their six games and scored once, with Olympique Béja and ES Metlaoui completing the relegation places.
