Manchester City vs PSG preview: perfect City face Paris in the game of the night
Manchester City host Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium (21:00 CEST) in the headline game of matchday two. Both won comfortably on the opening night: City 2-0 at Porto, PSG 6-1 against Slovan Bratislava, with Ferran Torres scoring a hat-trick and Ousmane Dembélé adding two goals and two assists.
City have won every game this season. They lead the Premier League with six wins from six, Erling Haaland has scored six league goals, and on Sunday they won 3-0 at Anfield, having also won 1-0 at Old Trafford in September. PSG are only sixth in Ligue 1 with 11 points after a slow start, but have won their last three league games, most recently 3-1 against Le Mans.
The sides' last meeting went PSG's way: a 4-2 win in Paris in the league phase in January 2025. City won both legs of the 2021 semi-final, 2-1 in Paris and 2-0 in Manchester. PSG are without Senny Mayulu, who has a groin injury.
