Feyenoord vs Como preview: Eredivisie leaders host the Champions League newcomers
Feyenoord host Como at De Kuip in the early kick-off (18:45 CEST). The two clubs had very different starts to the league phase: Feyenoord were beaten 5-1 in Barcelona, while Como, in their first Champions League campaign, beat RB Leipzig 4-1.
At home, Feyenoord are flying. They top the Eredivisie with 20 points from eight games, are unbeaten and have scored 27 goals while conceding seven, including a 7-0 win at PEC Zwolle, 5-0 against Utrecht and 2-0 against AZ on Saturday. Como are seventh in Serie A with 11 points and drew 0-0 with Roma at the weekend.
This is the first competitive meeting between the clubs. Feyenoord have a long injury list, with Jakub Moder, Jordan Bos, Gijs Smal, Thomas Beelen and Bart Nieuwkoop among those ruled out. Como are without Moise Kean, who has a leg injury.
