PolandEkstraklasa 2026/27: Górnik Zabrze lead, Legia the only unbeaten side
The Ekstraklasa is Poland's top division, played since 1927, and Legia Warsaw are its most successful club. Eighteen teams meet home and away over 34 rounds. The champions enter the Champions League qualifiers, further places lead to the European qualifying rounds, and the bottom three are relegated to the I liga.
After ten rounds Górnik Zabrze lead with 25 points and are unbeaten on the road, with five wins and a draw. Lech Poznań are three points behind with a game in hand, level with Legia Warsaw, who are the only team yet to lose a match. Pogoń Szczecin have the best defence, with six goals conceded, while GKS Katowice have scored the most, 22. Wisła Kraków have won all five of their home games.
The surprise of the season so far is at the bottom: Raków Częstochowa are last with three points, having lost nine of their ten matches. Śląsk Wrocław are 17th after four defeats in a row, and Radomiak Radom, who have conceded 23 goals, are 16th.
Pogoń's Jordi Sánchez and Katowice's Ilya Shkurin share the scoring lead with eight goals each, and Katowice's Bartosz Nowak has eight assists, the most in the league.
