HNL 2026/27: Hajduk Split lead, Dinamo unbeaten at home

The HNL is Croatia's top division, played since 1992, and Dinamo Zagreb are its most successful club. Ten teams play each other four times over 36 rounds, and the bottom club is relegated. Dinamo are the defending champions: they won the 2025/26 title with 86 points, 18 ahead of Hajduk Split, and Dion Beljo was the league's top scorer with 31 goals.

After nine rounds Hajduk lead with 19 points, a point ahead of Varaždin. Dinamo are third on 16 with a game in hand; they have won all five home games but none of their three away. Rijeka have also won every home game and have yet to win away.

Gorica are bottom with five points.

Beljo is again the leading scorer, with ten goals in seven games, ahead of Istra's Emil Frederiksen and Slaven Belupo's Ilija Nestorovski on seven.
