Veikkausliiga 2026: Inter Turku lead the championship group

The Veikkausliiga is Finland's top division, and HJK Helsinki are its most successful club. Twelve teams play 22 rounds, after which the league splits into a championship group and a relegation group of six. KuPS are the defending champions after winning the 2025 title ahead of Inter Turku.

KuPS topped the table after the first 22 rounds, but Inter Turku now lead the championship group with 52 points after 27 games, four ahead of HJK and KuPS. Inter Turku have lost only three league games all season.

In the relegation group, Mariehamn are bottom with 18 points and FF Jaro are fifth.

HJK's Mads Borchers leads the scoring charts with nine goals, ahead of Ilves' Teemu Hytönen with eight.
