Arsenal vs Lille preview: second in the Premier League meets second in Ligue 1
Arsenal welcome Lille to the Emirates Stadium for matchday two of the Champions League league phase with contrasting starts behind them. Arsenal won their opener 1-0 and sit 15th; Lille lost 3-2 and are 22nd.
Both clubs are 2nd in their domestic leagues. Arsenal have 15 points from six Premier League games and four wins in their last five. Lille have 13 points from six in Ligue 1, with three wins, a draw and a defeat in their last five.
Arsenal will be without W. Saliba (back) and C. Tzolis (hamstring). Tzolis has four assists this season, so more of the attacking burden falls on M. Ødegaard (four goals) and B. Saka (three goals).
Lille are missing E. Mbappe through suspension after a red card and H. Igamane with a knee injury, while T. Santos is doubtful. A. Ueda leads their scoring with three goals, and O. Giroud has a goal and two assists.
